Methods

IZINKER provides organisations with a systematic way of sparking their own creative processes in-house, Applying principles that facilitate creativity.

The idea is to stimulate the rational, analytical, sequential, objective aspects of people and reinforce them through the use of their intuitive, imaginative, divergent, subjective sides. This is conducive to the creation of ideas and solutions which are different from those that emerge from the usual patterns of operation.

Phases of the creative process

  • 1 / Perception & comprehension of the problem
  • 2 / Formulating the problem
  • 3 / Generating ideas
  • 4 / Assessing & selecting ideas
  • 5 / Implementing solution

Examining situations and determining problems on the basis of a mental map that prioritises those which need to be tackled first.

Examining the problem thoroughly. Proper formulation is almost as important as the solution itself.

Using creative techniques involving divergent thinking to create ideas.

Using selection criteria that enable the right solution for each problem to be found.

Planning & implementing the proposals generated and assessed in the creative process, providing the human and financial resources needed and establishing responsibilities, deadlines and landmarks as appropriate. Managing an innovation project.
